Mothers

We are a small group of nurse practitioners who are committed to helping you and your family as you embark on your infant feeding journey. One of our providers of medical care will be assigned to care for you and your baby. We offer expertise compassionate and individualized care. We work closely with you through the early difficult weeks with the option of problematic follow up through the first year. We will work closely with you and your care team, your Pediatrician and OB Provider.

Providers:

New England Mothers First nurse practitioners are expertise in breast and infant feeding management. Born of the vision for a collaborative, referral-based service that would work specifically towards the betterment of nursing mothers, babies, and families. Cynthia A. Vella NP IBCLC ANLC was formed NEMF in 2014. The practice has evolved and expanded throughout the greater Boston area to the South Shore, now with a small group of nurse practitioners. From breast feeding medicine supporting first time mothers, to managing refractory breast candida, ankyloglossia, cow’s milk protein sensitivity, unexplained skin rashes, to inadequate milk supply secondary to maternal breast surgery, we are able to serve the problematic needs of all nursing mothers and their babies.

As medical providers, the nurse practitioners of New England Mothers First are able to provide insurance covered, 45 to 60-minute Home Telehealth and Office visit appointments. We as a breast feeding practice seek to work in conjunction with Obstetrical and Pediatric practices for the management of complex breast and infant feeding issues, as well as prenatal consultations for concerns at approximately 36 weeks. Our Nurse Practitioners are READY and available to Telehealth screen, advise and offer breast with infant feeding challenges guidance.
